Dreamy, clean

How incredible it is when
possibilities reach in and
grab you by the heart
Comfortable, certainty that
the world I’ve been so closed off
to, can be open, for me?
It feels like an awakening
and, for so long, it was dark.
I could see
Blurs of clouds
I was lighter on explosions
that feel so simplistic
and obvious, now (true, ever-changing)
From down deep
I’m worthy of connection
and my enoughness accepts
(welcomes), this peace

Following my words
Following my words
Knowing I’m one person
But my instinct feels so
calmly, loud
Crying out
For a psyche
ignored and living in a sea of
warrior red
Back up.
Backed up, into all the corners
Expelled rotas of shame
and longing to be seen
I am the curve
That dumped an angry herd
into a world
That already didn’t
accept me
This lens, can’t now, reject me
Crescendos, heard
