Maybe love is freedom..
A simplistic freedom, settled rooting. Wild flowers flourishing, weaving into pathways by the springs
Twirling flowers between my fingers Growing, from my palms Skipping down the street That, to everyone else, is merely walking Rebelling into the synchronicity Of, both, joy and calm The magic we dreamed of as children The stars that mapped out and left such mystery, in our course Skies that turned landmarks into the vastness of forever Opening universes As meaning - and feeling drips, without swamp, bogged down From our pores Life doesn’t start with one open arch The lives we are living, intertwine Such happy, simplicity It makes sense The pull, what we decided There’s no game playing High school, without unsettled It all happens in natural time Wild flowers, un taming No need to keep score The daisy chains were for performance and they held the loss in remnants That grew into long-stemmed sunflowers and you admire my flower wall
