I might just be a human golden retriever I, golden retriever Why walk when you can prance, or dance? I make what others would refer to as ‘mess’ I prefer to refer to it as golden glitter (!) The dishes aren’t done without splashing water I feel like a human hurricane My hair falls out and the lava in me spews out in poem Can’t focus on the one thing My mind springs onto the next! Flush, release I have to view the thoughts as treasure! The volcano of passion in me left me feeling I was contagious as though I was riddled I have deep empath and feel responsible for the energy around me Everyday, I want to fix the spirits You thought I was too much, riddled with wasting space I felt I was wrong Lit up in yellow hopefulness, I like to think I have depth Well, riddle me this? Quick, energetic movements of anxiety and repetition That induce anxiety in others You need to calm down! I go into shame, it’s pain for me and I shutdown, deliver I love cuddles and warmth, blankets and my bed My dress sense leads, in illumination The puppy that can be so wise and, all so childlike, at the same time What happens, do you love me When I look at you with those eyes? I, golden retriever That is the ultimate compliment to myself Disruptive, I see injustice and want to fight for it A puppy watching a wealthy man eating an enticing dinner and seeing those with nothing left Tail wags, turning tables with excitement You know where you are Forlorn, the abandonment cuts deep when they are left To see the doggie friends leaping towards them The joyous, light and bountiful Every moment is one of new possibility and hope How does the park sound? My child parts do cartwheels and there are peaceful life spans that are cherished Art lasts forever, and adult me sits with zen connection resting my vessel Sprawling, curling and sitting Comfortable, on crossed legs
(trying to work on the people pleasing - it’s more, RSD, injustice sensitivity)

I am doing that.. How can I stop behaving like a victim, internally? Those things happened or I felt that way but I…

M’dear from a man of my age Walking right behind me I startle Has he ever, truly, unexpectedly Regularly, felt that same, continuation In new levels of afraid Them crossing over, I am so grateful for Then, somehow, for a safer moment I feel bad I feel
